American Pro Diving Center is located in Crystal River, a quiet little town and home of the Florida Manatee. Crystal River is approximate equal distance from both Tampa and Orlando. Airports in Tampa and Orlando are from 1hr and 15 min to1hr and 45 min away and St. Petersburg are 2 to 2.5 hrs driving depending on traffic. Directions from Major cities are located below.
FROM ORLANDO
Estimated travel time 1.5 hours, depending on traffic
Travel north on the Florida Turnpike until it merges on 1-75 north a short distance to the Wildwood exit 329 (S. R. 44). Go left (west) on 44 until it ends at U.S. Hwy. 19 in Crystal River. Turning left at this traffic light (south) on Hwy. 19. American Pro Diving Center is 7/10 of a mile on the left. Large lighted dive flag sign with American Pro on it.
FROM TAMPA
Estimated travel time 1.1 hours depending on traffic
(Recommended from the airport) Travel north out of the airport on the Veterans hwy. (just a few miles) to the sun coast parkway toll 589. Toll 589 ends on hwy 98 turn left and head west on 98 to U.S. Hwy 19. Turn right heading north, through Homosassa and into Crystal River. Go through a stop light just past the welcome to Crystal River sign and the dive shop is 2 big blocks on the right. Look for large lighted dive flag sign with American Pro on it.

Travel north on 1-75 take exit 301(Brooksville/ U.S. Hwy 98) Turn left going north on U.S. Hwy. 98. Go through Brooksville, continue on 98 until it ends on U.S. Hwy. 19. Turn right going north through Homosassa into Crystal River. Go through a stop light just past the welcome to Crystal River sign and the dive shop is 2 big blocks ahead on the right. Look for large lighted dive flag sign with American Pro on it.
From Gainesville
Estimated travel time from Gainesville 1.5 hours depending on traffic
Travel south on 1-75 to Gainesville exit S. R. 121, turn right going southwest until it ends on U.S. 19. Turn left going south on U.S. Hwy. 19. Entering Crystal River, from Crystal River Mall, approximately 2 miles or 6 traffic lights on left. Look for large lighted dive flag sign with American Pro on it.
